Synopsis

25 years after the destruction of Earth, the crew of Seeker 3000 have developed a civilization aboard their starship. Children born naturally are called "brats" (such as Jordan's son Carter) while those grown in gene banks are called "vats" (such as Jordan's son Jericho). After Jordan dies on a survey mission, three of the crew encounter their first extraterrestrials - unfortunately, they're unfriendly.
