Synopsis
Charlotte, largely ignored by her parents, grows up extremely possessive. In college, she becomes jealous when her best friend Dolores dates Dan. Charlotte falls in love with young professor Joe and monopolizes his time. He has to see his friends secretly and finally breaks up with Charlotte because she’s “an emotional cripple.” Charlotte leaves school and goes home, alone.
