Synopsis

After eight years of marriage, Hal asks Eve for a divorce, saying he’s “met someone else.” He moves out. When her cousin Velma arrives for a visit, Eve says Hal’s away. Velma convinces Eve to go on a double date, and they spot Hal with a woman in the restaurant. Learning the truth, Velma introduces Joe, an oilman, to Hal’s date Jean. Hal sees Jean is no good and realizes he really cares about Eve. He and Eve reconcile.
