Synopsis

Gail quits her job as a waitress in a diner owned by Fred due to his womanizing ways. She takes only the money owed her and leaves a note. Reporter Steve gets her a job as companion to the elderly Mrs. Latham. Gail becomes engaged to her employer’s son Steve. Fred sees her photo in the newspaper and contacts her: she’s been charged with stealing money from him but he’ll drop the charges if she marries him. The real culprit was another waitress, Laura, who was jealous. When this comes out, Steve reaffirms his love for Gail.
