Synopsis
Carrie, ashamed of living in poverty, moves to the city, changes her name, and pretends to be wealthy. She gets a job in an upscale dress shop. Carrie falls in love with the rich Jonathan, but realises she can’t continue to live a lie. Carrie goes home and learns her ex-boyfriend Bud is engaged to someone else. However, Jonathan tracks her down and says he loves her despite her low socio-economic status.
