Synopsis

A comet has grazed Earth and carried away a fairly large section of it, enough to provide air to the two dozen or so survivors on it. Eventually they discover that the comet will return to Earth, giving them a chance to survive if they can figure out a way to get off the comet before it glances off the planet.
