Synopsis

Self-willed and hot-tempered Ruth lived and worked with her widower father, a British Airline representative at an airport in Italy. Dave and the Count both intend to marry her despite her heated rejections of them in no uncertain terms. Having been challenged to a duel by the Count, Dave wins the battle with rapiers and spares the Count's life. The Count resorts to framing Ruth's father to blackmail her into marrying him. Kept a virtual prisoner, Dave arrives to rescue her before they can be wed. When Ruth learn that Dave is leaving the country, she finally professes her love for him.
