Synopsis

Gail and Frik are selected from Madame Solkov's school of dance to join Carmelita's ballet company. Gail has worked hard and is dependable, but Frik is recognized as having the talent for true greatness if the spark was ever ignited in her. When Frik dances with Leslie, that spark is lit for all to see and Frik believes that she and Leslie were born for each other. But Leslie and Gail fall in love instead. Carmelita asks Leslie to humor Frik for the sake of the dance company.
