Synopsis

Heartbroken, Fay serves as bridesmaid to her sister as Coral marries her former fiance. Fay had been adopted by Coral's parents twenty years ago after her real parents died in a car crash when they thought they would never have children of their own. But Coral was born two years later and Fay was pushed aside. Attending the wedding was a friend of Fay's parents. Seeing Fay's situation, she offers Fay the use of a cottage in the village of Treagh on island of Mulcraig, off the west coast of Eire. There Fay is attracted to a local painter.
