Synopsis

Emmy gets a job as a secretary at a music company, where she starts going out with a famous jazz trumpeter. Emmy's real motive for getting the job was to play some of the music she had written for the manager, but he didn't think her music had any future. However, when the trumpeter hears a tape of Emmy's music without realizing that she had written it, he jazzes up her song and tells the manager to make a deal with the writer so he can make the number his own.
