Synopsis

Women all over England know Eve from her magazine column. A television executive wants to leverage her popularity by using her in a show based on her column. The problem is that she writes as a married woman, but is actually a dedicated career girl. To salvage his plans, the executive brings in an actor to play her husband and keeps her true status a secret from the public. Eve immediately clashes with the actor, but the show is a big success.
