Synopsis

Elsa's mother had left England with her when she a year old to get away from her father. Elsa was raised on a poor dirt farm in Australia, but when her mother died Elsa decided to go to England to seek out her father since she was tired of living in poverty. She discovered that he had died six months earlier and she would inherit his wealthy estate instead of his adopted son Paul. Elsa also discovers her mother's diary and learns the reason her mother left was because she believed her father was trying to kill her.
