Dust Covers: The Collected Sandman Covers #[nn]

The bulk of this volume is organized as two-page spreads. The right hand page features a full page illustration, typically the original art for the cover to an issue of Sandman, stripped of all trade elements. The left hand page features a smaller illustration with notes about the art on the facing page written by Dave McKean and/or Neil Gaiman. This layout pattern is only interrupted once: the spread on pages 88 and 89 (A Game of You collection) features full page art on the left and the smaller illustration with text on the right. Unless otherwise noted, the smaller illustrations are personal photographs by Dave McKean.
