Synopsis

Clark and Lois are in Central America for the opening of a pre-Mayan pyramid. As Superman, he burrows deep into a cavern where many persons lie as if only in sleep. Haxtl and Empress Nara appear beside him and converse in modern English, explaining that telepathy is one of their accomplishments. He declares that the machine that has kept them alive for a thousand years will obliterate all developments since that date. Superman takes the empress and her advisor on a tour of the modern world, explaining how they try and help all peoples, not just the ruling classes.
