Synopsis

Cleopatra Vance, member of the Famous Names Club, asks the Torch for help, believing that Nathan Hale is going to be hanged. The Torches go to the address Vance provides and they find a body. Leaving the scene is the hired criminal, the Turtle. Next, Lincoln is shot by the Turtle; Cleopatra tells Torch that Julius Caesar must be the killer since she and he are the only two members left; the last surviving member is beneficiary of club investments. Torch suspects Hale of attempting to throw off suspicion and apprehends him and the Turtle when the latter tries to assassinate Caesar.
