Synopsis

Florence is ashamed of living in the slums; she goes to business school and gets work as a typist. Florence and architect Barry fall in love, but she fears rich Bonnie will steal him away. However, Barry has designed a new housing project to replace the slums, leading to a better life for Florence’s parents – and for Florence and Barry, who wed.
