Notated in the indicia: "Copyright 1982 by Marvel Comics Group, a division of Cadence Industries Corporation." At the end of the indicia is this text: "This periodical may not be sold, but shall be given away as complimentary copies by Foley's." (Foley's was a department store chain in the southern United States).

This variant was included in one edition of the Sunday Austin American-Statesman newspaper.

On the first story page and also the second-to-last story page, a newspaper is being held up to show the headline. In this variant, in each case the masthead for the newspaper shown uses the actual Austin American-Statesman masthead (while the other two variants use their own newspaper mastheads). The masthead is also printed at the top of the cover.
