Synopsis

A photograph in a newspaper requests information about a young woman who has lost her memory after being knocked down by a car in London. A wealthy industrialist sees the photograph and is convinced she is his daughter. In his younger days, he had been wild and his wife had run off with his daughter. He later heard his wife had died in a flu epidemic in Paris and he had searched for his daughter ever since. But the girl herself has doubts and eventually remembers that she is not his daughter.
