Synopsis
Good friends Neil and Danny are largely indifferent to their eighth-grade graduation, and Neil bemoans the fact that they're stuck in a small town where few people are interested in books. Danny speculates that they may meet more interesting people in high school, but some of their classmates torment Neil at the end-of-school dance. The two friends are enthralled by the Apathea Ravenclaw: Huntress Witch series. In the story-within-a-story, ravens summon Apathea to meet her aunt.
