Synopsis
An alien stranded on Earth poses as a reclusive doctor in a small town named Patience, using his mild telepathy to make humans see him as a normal person. When the town's only doctor is murdered the police ask him for assistance, and Mayor Hawthorne convinces him to run the medical clinic for a week until a permanent replacement can be found.
