Synopsis

A careless girl drops her handbag in her rush to catch a bus. Down on her luck, Claire takes some money from the dropped handbag, then throws the handbag into the canal without looking at the rest of its contents. Her luck seems to change as she gets a job as a model and wins Larry's love. But the handbag had belonged to Larry's sister and contained a valuable necklace she was returning to the owner. Claire has to confess her actions to prevent the police from arresting Larry's sister.
