Contains humorous illustrations on four pages, satirising aspects of life and customs, politics and government, and entitled "The portfolio of Lavater the Second". The first two pages contain portraits of typical Londoners, including "Fancy sketches from life", "Phisogs of the traders of London", "Portraits down the road". All illustrations are accompanied by commentary or verse.
