Seven Seas Entertainment

Seven Seas Entertainment was founded in 2004 by Jason DeAngelis, initially to publish original English-language manga before moving to licensing Japanese series.

It has made its name on breadth rather than blockbusters, picking up series that larger houses passed over — including a good deal of the yuri, isekai and horror that the wider English-language market ignored for years. Several titles it rescued after another publisher dropped them have gone on to long runs.

It publishes light novels and webtoon adaptations alongside manga.
