Dwarves of Nidavellir

Dwarves are a humanoid species of Asgard. Physically, the Dwarves have a smaller stature than the gods and they possess more stocky and corpulent bodies. Their average height is 1m20. Dwarves tend to be craftsmen or farmers, who maintain friendly and peaceful relations with the gods. They live in the domain of Nidavellir, on the continent of Asgard. Dwarf craftsmen are particularly skilled and talented in blending magic and enchantment into their creations; for example, they forged Mjollnir (the hammer of Thor), Gungnir (the spear of Odin) and more recently Beta Ray Bill’s Stormbreaker. However, the Lord of Asgard himself added his own enchantments to the items in question.
