In the comics, O.S.I. is inconsistently said to stand for the Office of Strategic Intelligence, the Office of Strategic Information, and the Office of Scientific Intelligence. Its director is Oscar Goldman, one of its scientists is Dr. Rudy Wells, and two of its agents are Steve Austin (the Six Million Dollar Man) and Jaime Sommers (the Bionic Woman).
