Dr. Jerome Hamilton, Dr. Carlo Zota, Dr. Maris Morlack, and Professor Wladyslav Shinski joined together as the Enclave to create a race of advanced humans, with whom they planned to conquer the rest of mankind. Their first creation, known only as "Him" (later named Adam Warlock), rebelled against them. Their second creation was Paragon a.k.a. "Her" (later called Kismet and Ayesha), who also rebelled against them.
