Synopsis

Polly thought Chris was terrific before she starting reading romance magazines and dreaming about the super guys in the stories. Chris confides in his friends about Polly's unrealistic fantasies. When Gavin sees how pretty she is, he uses a fake name and pretends to be in television advertising instead of a carpenter to go out with her. At first the ruse was a lark to have fun, but later he becomes serious about Polly. When Chris learns that Gavin is going out with Polly, he realizes he loves her as more than just a friend.
