Synopsis

Ruth and Jeff had been dancing partners for quite a few years and hoped they would win the national trophy one day. On the night they advance to the area heats, Jeff tells Ruth that he loves her and all seems right with her world. But the next day, Martha is told that Ruth's stepsister is in trouble with the police and Linda's grandmother has died. Linda, who had been taken away from Martha after her first husband died, comes to live with the Marlowes and immediately sets out to take Jeff away from Ruth.
