Synopsis
By pretending to be the niece of a famous American actress at one audition and singing a song against the customs of the theater at another audition, Janice earns a reputation as an actress that will do anything to succeed. She becomes unpopular at the Stratton theatrical hostel where she lives with other aspiring actors. Janice's reputation is used against her by a rival when she and a song writer attempt to start a romantic relationship.
