Synopsis

Fay was the subject of much gossip when she ran away from home the day before her wedding. She shows up at her doctor's door and tells him why she left, explaining that the explanation involves him. She had been happy until her family adopted her cousin following the death of her parents in a road accident. Her cousin immediately set about to steal Fay's fiancee from her and succeeded while planting seeds of gossip that Fay was interested in the doctor. Her fiancee didn't tell Fay of his relationship with her cousin until the day before he was supposed to marry Fay.
