Synopsis
Follows the history of a British rifle battalion through several wars, culminating in their adventures in WW2. After the survivors return from Dunkirk they are disbanded, but their C.O. ignores orders and trains the men as a covert force working behind enemy lines. They come to the aid of the allies several times after D-Day, eventually gaining revenge on an SS unit who had massacred them when prisoners in 1940.
