Synopsis

Korky the Cat is painting a door. Somebody steals his tin of paint. The paint is thrown over a statue. The Police Superintendent tells Korky that they can never find the vandal. Korky tells the Superintendent that he will find the vandal. Korky finds a fingerprint on the paint pot, a footprint in the ground and a strand of yellow wool. He then points to a boy running away who is apprehended. Korky is then shown with a bag of reward money. He tells us that the Police think he's a great detective but actually he saw the boy stealing his paint.
