Synopsis
Elaine falls in love with Roger, who lives with his sister Renee on a plantation in the swamplands. Renee uses a wheelchair, and constantly monopolizes Roger’s time. Elaine discovers Renee can walk: she is feigning disability to prevent Roger from leaving her. Renee repents of her selfishness, so now Roger and Elaine can wed.
