Synopsis

Popeye and Sir Pomeroy are about to take a well-deserved rest when they are approached by two gentlemen. One of them explains that his niece is being held captive in a castle by a mechanical dragon, and requests that Popeye and Pomeroy rescue her. Popeye emphatically states that he is honor-bound to rescue damsels in distress, so off they go. It takes them several days at sea to reach the isle of their destination, but once there they scale the craggy cliffs to reach the castle above. Looking up they spot the imprisoned Velma in a tower window, but she warns them the dragon can be difficult.
