Synopsis
Looking out over the water from the deck of a ship, Popeye and Sir Pomeroy see what looks like a roller coaster on the island before them. As they stand there gazing, two mechanical claws come down, and Dr, Klumpp captures Popeye and his companion. The claws are attached to a crane which deposits the two into a pressure chamber, one that will simulate conditions in space. Once they realize their dilemma though, Popeye frees them, and they soon learn from Klumpp that the pressure chamber was placed on the roller coaster to be launched into space, headed for the mysterious far side of the moon.
