Synopsis

Tess meets Kip at a car rally and he teaches her how to drive. On the night they become engaged, Kip lets Tess drive when an oncoming car careens out of nowhere. Tess survives the accident, but Kip does not. Tess wants to get away from her memories and takes a job as a nanny for Mrs. Foster's children in California. Mr. Foster is a film director and the house is often filled with glamorous people, but Tess doesn't go out with any men who ask her. Then she meets Mr. Foster's brother, Mike.
