Synopsis

When war hero Bill comes home to Carson City, Eloise schemes to share the limelight with him. She’s soon billed as his “girlfriend” in the press. He proposes to her but she’s not sure she really loves him. Bill finds out and makes an oblique reference to this in his farewell speech before returning to the war. Eloise realises she really does love him and Bill says they’ll be together when he comes home.
