Synopsis

May and Herb are high school sweethearts, and continue their relationship after graduation. Herb graduates from college and gets a job, promising to wed May when he makes good. While he’s away in South America, she dates Jack, an executive for the same company. Jack says Herb’s work will always take him away, and proposes to May himself. May is about to write a “Dear John” letter but decides Herb is the man for her. Moments later, Herb comes home.
