Synopsis

Readers of Sparky's adventures in Big Shot Comics continue to send in letters regarding his dilemma whether or not to marry the invalided Dotty. There is a preponderance of "against". The long-retired Doc begins reading up on spinal surgery, with a view to operating. Dotty's sister Joyce, who wants Sparky for herself, bad mouths Dotty. The surgery is about to begin.
