Synopsis
In October 1929, Lamont Cranston returns to the United States, dodging a pesky reporter. Margo Lane, mistress of the gangster Big Gun Massaretti, finds herself in danger when he tires of her, but the Shadow arrives in time to save her.
Notes
There is at least one known instance of the Blank Authentix Cover for issue #1 being erroneously placed on a copy of issue #2 of this series. The Blank Authentix Cover is an additional wraparound cover that is added over the regular cover for the issue, so it is 4 pages longer than the regular cover copies of the same issue.
