Synopsis
Lydia falls in love with Henry, a new employee at her father’s bookshop. But rare books begin to disappear, and Lydia suspects Henry. The thief turns out to be Paul, a rejected suitor of Lydia’s, in an attempt to discredit Henry. Paul attacks Lydia and she kills him, but is acquitted, and will marry Henry
