Synopsis
Claudia hires Ralph to work on her farm and they fall in love. However, Claudia and the other farmhands mock Ralph as a "school farmer" because he went to agricultural college, and refuse to implement his scientific suggestions. Ralph leaves. Claudia's orchard is ruined by a disease that Ralph had spotted but whose advice she had rejected. Ralph returns and says he'll help her rebuild.
